“I try to lose my mind and come to my senses, tasting life fully as it unfolds.”

A powerful way to frame this!

Thank you so much for noticing that line—it’s something I remind myself of often. Life feels lighter when we can step out of our heads and really experience the present moment. I’m still practicing it every day. Thank you for reading and commenting. :)

Way too much time in our heads! A worthwhile lifelong practice to return to our senses.

This is so beautiful, very moving and I so resonate with all that you share. Thank you. The last few years have been quite intense for me and mainly because I have done so much work around letting go all that we carry as 'conventions' and milestones we 'should' achieve. I am far from being fully free but I have been savouring for a while a different type of freedom. One that fills my heart with a pure sense of joy and fulfillment. Yet sometimes it comes and go but when it stays around for a bit, it's just so worth it. Lucky us - I say - as a generation we have learnt to follow our hearts and be brave. So glad we met here on Substack!

I ❤️ this! Looking inward, asking what my anxiety/fear/frustration needs is a practice I have cultivated in recent years as well - learning to accept those feelings as parts of me, befriending them, which ultimately enables me to let them go. I think we're on a similar path!...

And I have a friend named Dewi (she's spelled with a "w" instead of a "v")! What amazing synchronicity 💕

Thank you so much for sharing this—it really touched me. I completely relate to what you said. One of my hopes as a parent is that she understands she is not her mind or her thoughts. If she can hold on to that, I believe she’ll be able to navigate whatever life brings her with more ease and clarity. Of course, it’s something each person has to discover for themselves—but maybe, just maybe, these little seeds we plant will take root when the time is right.

Thank you again for sharing your heart—it really resonated. ❤️
