Sikieng, this is a very important piece. My father told me I could not go abroad for school. And I did it anyway focusing on the why.

Now as I feel stressed about my future, your writing is an important reminder that I need to focus on the why.

Please keep writing.

Hello Sikieng, thank you for this insightful post. I believe that the most important thing to remember is that we do not need to wait to be ready or have it all perfect. A lot of us fear change, so before we go after what we really want, we overanalyze it. Passion fuels courage. Love it, thank you for sharing.

Love love love this. How to guides are for putting together furniture, not for living life. This simple and short reflection has so much juice in it. It’s clear you’re someone who uses “mental friction” as I like to call it, for growth.

Wow, I love the way you put that—'mental friction for growth' is such a powerful concept! Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual, but challenges can shape us if we embrace them. Thank you for your thoughtful words and for sharing your perspective, Tristan! Really appreciate that.
