This is cool... I love how you believe in following your passion leading to a fulfilling life, despite knowing you're not your mind.

When I first discovered I'm not my mind, I spent a lot of time thinking that what's the point of passion when passion is just an idea in the mind...lol.

It took quite some time to understand that physical, mental, emotional and spiritual reality go hand in hand. And that the purpose of knowing the spiritual truths is too enhance every aspect of your life, not to deny it

I love this reflection, Adurial! It’s such an interesting paradox, isn’t it? Realizing we’re not our mind can initially make everything—including passion—feel illusory. But, as you beautifully put it, spiritual truth isn’t about denial; it’s about integration.

And the real magic happens when we know we are not our mind—we become its master rather than its slave. Instead of being controlled by doubts, fears, or fleeting desires, we can consciously use the mind as a tool to fulfill what truly matters to us. It shifts from being a source of limitation to a source of creation.

I’d love to hear—was there a particular moment or insight that helped this understanding click for you?

Yup... it's all about learning to use the mind, rather than being used!

For me, I guess something in me didn't let me rest in complete denial. Any time I tried to use spirituality as an excuse for escapism, I could only repress my desire for expression for so long.

Whenever I would see others expressing themselves in their unique ways to the level of perfection, I would want to find my place.

An example is when I first watched Dr. Strange. Another example is when I came to know elon musk. I tried following their footprints, but it of course wouldn't work. I had to find my own way, and that's what I'm doing now.

So, what changed my understanding was repeated failure to deny my life. That made me realize that denying isn't an option. the only option would be to integrate the spiritual principles into whatever way I wish to express myself in this life.

What about you? Did you struggle with this stuff too?

I really love how you put that—‘repeated failure to deny my life.’ That’s such a powerful realization. I’ve struggled with this too, thinking detachment meant giving up desire. But over time, I saw that real spirituality isn’t about rejecting life—it’s about bringing deeper truth into how we live and create. Thank you so much for sharing your insights, Adurial.

I am looking forward to reading your work!

I'm fortunate enough to have a corporate job that is my passion. Indeed, time flies, I'm in a permanent state of flow and I look forward to Mondays. Unlike most people, I don't plan to ever retire. My intention is to work for as long as I can because my work is my passion. And my passion fuels my life. 😁✨💫

What I loved most is how much this takes out the pressure, that passion is something playfull, something that we get to enjoy, experiment with and that it doesn't always have to turn into some kind of goal that we need to reach or achieve. Reading this truly calmed me down and didn't give me the feeling I am behind somehow, because there is something I haven't figured out yet. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing this—it truly means a lot, Miachaela. I'm really happy that the message brought you a sense of ease rather than pressure. Passion is meant to be something we explore and enjoy, not another benchmark to measure ourselves against. I love that this resonated with you in that way. By the way, I had a look at your newsletter and it resonated with me. Wishing you all the best as you continue to your journey!
